MUSIC AT THE HARLEM UNDERGROUND

is often excitingly unpredictable,
sometimes funky and raw,
soulfully cool at the right moments,
electronically charged when the crowd is jumping,
retroly rocking,
cutting edge and familiar.

Over the last 4 years we have introduced such now well known DJs as the Loose Cannons, Diplo and Kissy Sellout to our patrons. And such acts as Damon Albarn, Armand Van Helden and Bushwaka have graced our decks.

Our current nights feature DJs who can be heard playing at much, much larger venues and festivals worldwide. The Harlem Underground presents them in an intimate setting.

Pete has the Friday night show on Ministry of Sound radio called 'The Global Network', he has been resident for Cafe Mambo in Ibiza for 10 years, resident for Renaissance for 8 years, and played 50 countries worldwide.

WEDNESDAYS–TUGG ON GROOVE

Basement Jaxx drummer Tuggy, brings you a night of Latin, Soul and Disco-esque House music with a bit of weirdness!

THURSDAYS – ANDY BIRD OR BEN CHAPMAN

'Playboy, raconteur, layabout and darn fine DJ'

As head honcho of the SoulBrew and Body Music nights Andy has 10 years of club experience behind him whether it's playing disco alongside Danny Krivit or Norman Jay, hip hop with cash money & DJ Spinna or house with Kerri Chandler.
A record collection encompassing everything from blues, rock n roll, 80s pop, jazz, latin, afro beat to the soul, funk, disco and house that he's better known for and his Harlem outings allow him to dig a bit deeper into the music he loves in a proper speakeasy setting.

FRIDAYS – BOBBY SPEED – FANCY FOOTWORK

Bobby digs into the crates and conjures up a musical journey from soul through funk, reggae, disco, hip hop, house, and 80s to music from today. Expect tunes you love and ones you wish you didn't mixed with love and perfection!

SATURDAYS – MIX UP THE FUNK
